Who we are

This website is run by BrainBoxIT Limited, trading as BrainBox IT, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11703272), registered office 6 Range Green, Portsmouth, PO2 8RE, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described here. To contact us about your data, use the contact form or write to the registered office.

What we collect and why

Contact form. When you send us a message we collect your first and last name, email address, company, the service you are interested in, and your message. We use them to reply to you and, if you ask, to discuss working together. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or steps you ask us to take before entering a contract.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, session recording, or tracking pixels on this site.

Who processes it for us

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the UK's adequacy regulations or by standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 2 years after our last contact with you, unless they become part of a client relationship, in which case we keep them for as long as that relationship needs. Hosting logs are kept by our provider for a short period for security purposes.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or ask us to restrict it. Contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
